Michelin Pilots, mismatch question

I have two good Pilot XGT H4 225 50 16s in the rear and would like a matching set for the front, size 205 50. The tire is no longer made and none on E bay. I really don't want to buy four new tires, what would be a good choice to be as near a match as possible? Rob

I would look for the tyre Michelin replaced them with. Call Michelin customer service and ask them.

That said, I am getting rather excellent tread life and very good daily driver road handling from BF Goodrich tyres. Though I know they are not popular here as they are not "race style".

Stay matched, always......one way or another...

I'm w/ David's suggestion.

Best to you,

Doyle

How old are the tires that are on that are good? If they are more than 5 years old you should consider replacing them. The date code is molded into the tire and tells the week and year that they were made.
