73'S motor

I was just curious if anyone else had bid on the 73'S motor that was on Ebay. It started at $300 but went for $740. To rich for my blood for a core. It would have made a good start for RS motor but without any MFI equipment that's seems a bit high to me.

Actually Nick that's a different one. The other one is a T motor. You can see it has iron cylinders. I guess this motor the S might be worth the money if you figure in what it costs for nitrated rods. But still that seems high for a motor that you don't know the extent of the damage.

I dropped out at $605 or some such. It got hot and heavy there at the end.

I thought that might have been you JP. I dropped out at $476. I thought I could maybe use the pistons on my TE motor and save the S core for my project car.
