Full gas tank makes the car drive better

How much a full tank of gas weight? Every time filling full tank of gas, my car drive better. I am not sure how to describe it but I just feel like it more, like to gun it. I feel it's more stable. Is it the pressure increase make the car run better? Or is it the weight in the front make the car more stable? Do you guys feel the same or it is just my imagination after spending the $$ feeding the car?
My car is very lowed and harsh.

It makes sense since the weight bias is better balanced. Could also be that your front end alignment is set to favor a full tank. Relize the camber and toe change as the suspension compresses.
I find the same thing with my SC which has a 21 gal tank and a heavy g50 tranny and a 965 turbo engine tugging down the rear. A full tank kinda improves the road feel for routine traffic use.
On the other hand thats the only 911 I have that feels more stable with the full tank. The rest of them clearly show a sluggish change in steering responce when topped off.

Gasoline weighs around 6 lbs./gallon, so an addition of 20 gallons to the tank will add about 120 lbs. to the front end.

You will also find that a full tank reduces front end float at extra-legal speeds.

Now the thought is if I can have this feeling even when the tank is almost empty with some harder struts up front?

I keep the tank full on my SC--refilling when it's down a quarter tank. In normal road driving, I don't notice any effects of weight distribution--very stable handling.

My old Corvair was much more front end sensitive. Loading the front trunk up helped a bit, but it was a different feel. A different class of car in terms of handling.
