I need to change my brake hoses because I think they are the original from '85. I read somewhere that unless you are planning on doing a lot of track time, you should just replace with standard OE rubber hoses. After looking at the parts on Pelican, it looks like rubber hoses are the same $ as DOT SS braided. Is there a reason that I sould not use the SS braided if it is just a street ride? I would think they would be better than rubber.....Any comments?

SK,
I think if you do a search you will find much discussion on this subject. My take on the issue was that for street use the OEM lines are preferred over the SS.
