Leaking Bosch fuel pump
I just finished plumbing up the fuel system on my 911T and figured I would run some fuel through it to make sure everything is working and that I don't have any leaks. Well.......I do have a leak, and in the worst possible spot....Its leaking from the body of my Bosch pump. This seems strange as I bench tested the pump before putting it back on the car and it was working perfectly and putting out exactly 3.5 PSI with no leaks. I know these pumps are in the $800+ range for a new one and I really do want to stick with the internally regulated pump due to the simplicity and cleanliness of the plumbing. What are my options here? I would like to exhaust all cheaper possibilities before buying a new pump.

Make sure you have a leaking pump, its easy for fuel to leak from the hoses where they attach to the pump if they are the wrong ID. Metric versus imperial problem. Is it leaking from the electrical connector, the pressure bypass or somewhere else? Sometimes the seals will expand again now its full of fuel and the leak stop after a while, but only if its a slight dampness, not a regular drip drip drip. I got so fed up I bought a Zims replacement, no more leaks, works just fine and cheap(er). Just not original. Not sure if Pelican sells these, they should consider it.
