what do ya think....

Hello all.

I finished my valve covers for my 2.7 rebuild. What do you all think?

Thanks guys for all the compliments. I really appreciate it!

I had the covers media blasted (plastic beads) and used a high temp silver paint from Home Depot (1200 degree F). Then just painted the script with a model brush and some red/orange model paint. I dont anticipate they will always look like this, but its a start. I must admit it was really easy to do. I like adding detail to an engine compartment.

The sad thing is, I am selling this car as soon as I get the engine reassembled and running. I am after a 993.

Looks excellent!
I will suggest you find a compatible clear coat. Those silver paints use aluminum flakes . . . these will oxidize (look ech) quickly in high heat w/o clear to slow the process down.
