'83 Factory Security System?
 

Recently purchased an '83 SC Cabriolet that has the factory security system with the key lock on the drivers side door jamb. Does anyone know exactly how this works? I am not sure if it has glitches in it or I just don't know how to work it?

I have set it off by opening the trunk, but is does not seem to sense the drivers side door opening?:confused:

I have the same factory alarm on my 83SC. It is a old style alarm that works with all the courtesy lights on the car when the system is armed. You have to have your interior lights on the on positions so it works when someone opens the doors.
