Good on ya. That is a very nice car you have there. The engine is absolutely sanitary. You have every right to be proud of this accomplishment.

rebuild

can you go into more detail about your rebuild ? The fact that you used Waynes book for your rebuild would make this a great thread with pics/info.

I looked up the vin and the engine # and I do believe it is a euro. Really dont know much else. Bought it as a project last fall knowing it needed a rebuild. Got it at a good price and it was in good shape...whish i knew more about the car.

Alan,
Lookin good! Congrats on the job well done. I just moved to Topeka Kansas for a job... I used to work on Porsches as a side job, let me know if you ever want some volunteer help! I used to share shop space with family and friends in Ohio, so I have been busy trying to rebuild my workshop out here!

I'm planning on being at the Kansas City region SCCA autocross on sunday. You should come out if you are around. I believe there are a couple 911s registered.

Nice car! Love the color It looks like you could use a few heater hoses! Or you could pull it out, and install a block-off plate, if you don't need the heat. I'm in KC quite a bit, if you need anything.
