1973 mfi Backfiring please help again!!!

1973 mfi Backfiring upon deceleration I have read all the forums on this. Is there someone who will rebuild the transducer?? I checked it and it seems fine. The micro switch does not appear to be getting any power at either terminal. the fuel shut off solenoid does not appear to be working took it out and put 12v to it and it does not do anything. Where should I begin?? is the solenoid available from anyone?? How should I go about troubleshooting this!!

Sounds like an exhaust leak. Wet your hand and run it near the exhaust flanges. If you feel an breeze, there ya go.

The RPM transducer is expensive but you may be able to fix it yourself. If the solenoid does not work when you give it 12V you need to find a good used one. Try the Early 911S Registry. Joe Bob, why are you so special to be able to change your username?
