Some of those parts are worth a lot of money in good condition (tailight assy in particular).
As generous as your offer might be, you should check on a couple of prices!!! (Besides, I am grumpy because I live in New Zealand and can never take part in the "free Porsche bits" fun). Cam

I dunno Cam. The thought is that you may have "won" this one. After all, you were the first reply. If you offered to pay for the shipping? I'd think the parts are yours.
Good luck! Paul

Haha Paul - that's funny.
It cost me $95 to ship a pair of SSIs from Pelican last month by sea freight (should take 6 weeks), plus about another $50 to clear customs in NZ, plus 12.5% GST. I don't want to know how many NZ$ that is (nearly NZ$300, plus the GST). Boohoo. And compared to some other countries, that is probably cheap ![]() Cam

Cam? Sorry, didn't think of YOUR shipping costs. The price(s) you pay for living in paradise? I once was a "gofer" for a Yachtsman who would develop cravings. Remember paying over $100 to ship a case of Log Cabin (common brand here) syrup to Malta. Purchase cost? A bit over $20. He paid the price, willingly. Guess it all depends on desire? But you're right...here, a pre '69 Tail light assembly in good shape? Worth a dime or two, for sure!

I'd be interested in the tailight, rear lettering, and dash covering.
Let me know.

Free Parts?
Being but a poor 911 owner
I would LOVE to receive a few of the parts mentioned above. I'm particularily interested in the electric fuel pump, carb tune-up kit, the silver letters, and any exhaust gaskets you may have. I've sent you an e-mail and if I could have any of the parts mentioned, my car and I would be grateful. Regards, Andrew M |
