HELP-Removing 87 carrera oil cooler

In the process of removing oil cooler from 87 Carrera...the flexable lines on top of the cooler that are attached to the hard lines from the engine will not come loose. The fittings seem to be fused together after 25 year....anyone else have this problem....need HELP.....should I heat them up???

if mine i shoot PB Blaster in there every day for a week.

then if they don't loosen up with wrenches set up the wrenches so you can hold on to one and whack the other wrench with a 3lb baby sledge. The harmonics and shock should free it
