911 > 993: Which decklid?
Car is a '79 SC with a Better Bodies 993 GT-2 body kit. I would like to switch the existing rear deck-lid with a duck. Do I need a 993 deck-lid or a 911 deck-lid? I'm also selling the deck-lid/wing if anyone wants it.

I believe you are in a pickle, the lid you have is going to be shorter in length than a 911 hood but the mounts are of the 911sc width, the only people i think can use your lid are with the same conversion that you have ....... as far as another deck for you i believe a 993 will fit but you will have to modify the lid or your hinges

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. This may be a "bastard" child...I guess I'll have to find/measure a 993 lid to see what's up.

Im pretty sure you have a 993 deck lid, because the fenders are 993

So, will the 993 decklid bolt-on directly to a "911" chassis? The hinges appear to be in the stock location.

a 964 decklid is a no-fit, so I reckon a 993 item won't be eiter.

Hmm...I'll have to examine my car closer. I can't imagine someone made a custom deck-lid for this configuration.
