Who is running Kennedy Organic Race Clutch in a 915? My 6 puck is too much.
Well, I've run 6 puck clutches in other cars and found them to be ok. While extended use in my Mitsubishi based rally cars has shown some input shaft wear, I wanted to try the KEP version, along with light flywheel and pressure plate. For the most part, once it's warmed up, it shifts great and faster then the Numeric shifter can offer. That said, when cold, it's too harsh and chatters like mad. Decided to swap in a organic race unit from KEP and see how that helps.

I'm running the KEP sport clutch assembly on my SC. It is significantly stiffer and a little more sensitive than stock, but totally streetable. It's nothing like the little Tilton race clutches we run on track, which are basically an on/off switch.

When I converted my race car from RSR pressure plate and puck disc to the street, I chose KEP ALU/ALU pressure plate light diaphragm and street race organic disc, a little heavy but operation is perfect. Not a race car anymore.

I just swapped in the KEP Organic race and kept the RSR flywheel and Aluminum KEP pressure plate. Too bad my clutch cable mount broke while adjusting the clutch. Will get a new one in tomorrow.
