2.7 to 3.2 conversion- gas line problems

I'm swaping a 3.2 for my tired 2.7 and have discovered that the fuel return line on the car has a male fitting end and so does the engine. The line off the fuel rail is rubber with a hose clamp that goes to a hard bracket [male end]. Nobody around here has any metric fuel fittings. Anyone bumped into this problem??

Keep in mind that it's only a return line, no pressure, so you should be able to rig something simple without fear of a fuel leak.

:)

Do you need something like this........................

but with Female fittings on both ends?

+1. That's what I did - a simple barb fitting/hose clamp arrangement.

get a metric to barb conversion fitting from BAT Inc. As suggested, it is a low pressure line. I used 7mm black braided fuel hose with double hose clamps (NORMA) on both ends.

I have the Porsche OE Female hose ends in stock..........

and they are inexpensive. About $5 per nipple and $4 per nut if you want to hose clamp a short section together.

Len.....thats exactly what I need. I know it is low pressure and the line from the fuel rail is attached via hose clamp but I hate cutting the line on the car. How expensive is the metal line setup with double female ends?

by the way....THANK YOU all for the input
