Hey Everyone,
I did the compressed air & torch fix one this. There was a pretty nice crimp here. I did the best I could, with out using too much heat. Do you figure its ok to use with this line/ stressed spot? ![]() Thanks, Gene |

Eh. Looks like one on my car. Not sure I'd use it if I had a choice, though.

I'm no expert, just my observations but there have been lines with more severe denting that people have run on their cars with no noticeable flow problems (non-track cars.) However, what would concern me is the look of the dent in the center of the photo. There appears to be a sharp crease running from the bottom left of the dent toward the deep half-moon shaped mark. That could be a weak point/crack that might spring a leak--it's hard to tell from the picture. If the line was mine, my concerns would be about possible leaks rather than flow and if in doubt, I'd replace.

Yep, thats what worries me. What it looks like on the inside, the crease... The flow will be fine, but the crease. I'll try to get a better used line...
I have seen guys solder in repar pieces, but I am not sure how secure that would be... Thanks a lot guys! Gene |

That denting wouldn't worry me at all.

No problem, don't worry about it. Scavenge lines are very low pressure.
