Revenue is right John, When I lived in Denver a citizens group went before the State legislature about outlawing speed cameras in the city.
The city went on and on about how much safety they brought to the roads, etc. Then the happened to include the fact that they generated over $45,000 per month in net income from only 5 speed cameras! If the voters won't approve a tax hike....hell, we'll just buy more speed cameras!!!! Nick. |
My Valentine 1 has saved me many times, though I did get zapped in Michigan, with instant-on laser ($125 fine for 88mph, near Ann Arbor). The cop was hiding behind the support for a highway overpass. Now I only speed when on a clear stretch of open road with nowhere to hide.
Re laser jammers: See the site wwww.radartest.com. They claim that the Lidatek Laser Echo is a much more effective laser jammer than the Blinder. |
Randy W..I hit the www.radartest.com site. No price on new Bear Tracker BCT-12, although they gave it a good write up. No price given. I'll buy one any way..
Decolliber...the other laser jammer is Lidatek Laser Echo, $350. Seems like a better unit than the Blinder M-10..Might as well buy that also as soon as I do more research. Also found on the site a license plate plastic that screws up photo radar, I think $60, could have been $30http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/2ar15.gif   |
