Raush & Spiegel Oil Return Tubes - Reusable?
Guys I am cleaning up one of my engines on an engine stand and thought that I could do the sheet metal mod to increase cooling around the cylinders. Of course to do that I have to remove the oil return tubes. I have the Aluminum ones from R&S (Pelican). Do you guys know if they can be collapsed and re-extended again or am I going to open up myself for leaks? I do intend to change the O-rings even though they are very fresh.

All the collapsable return tubes can be reused. New orings probably aren't a bad idea, though.

I did not put these it so I am not sure they are the same as the factory steel ones, do the have o-rings in the center between the two halves as well? Are they available? I will be changing the factory o-rings on the outsides of the tubes.

The outer end seals (@ case and cam tower) are the same as O.E. p/n: 999.707.112.40 available from Pelican. The inner seals are - (dash) 020 Viton o-rings, available from anyone who specializes in o-rings or from McMaster.
