Alignment question

What's the best way to find the center and hold the steering rack to do an alignment with strings on the 911?

There's multiple ways to do this but one is usually the best/easiest, please save me some trial and error time
.
TIA,

Lance

i just centered it by eye and that worked fine. a note on the rear- when turning the adj bolts, a little goes a long way. one small turn and uve just gone thru the entire adj range, so be aware of that. if u have stock 16" fuchs and ur car happens to be an SC, i have found that if u set up the strings 2" from the front hub and 2 17/32 from the rear, that will do it. believe me this measurement comes after many hours of trial and error. good luck

Thanks Jason, that was exactly what I wanted to know.

u got it. for what its worth i shot for 1/32 toe in, per wheel, for the front and rear. 1 degree negative camber on the rear and 1/2degree negative on the front. for the street this setup works pretty good without any crazy tire wear.
