DIY Help - Sacramento
I'm looking for a DIY guy in Sacramento. My daughter is in law school there, and badly needs new rotors and pads, and fluid flush on her trusty Acura 3.0 CL. Its a simple car [1997] and an easy job for anyone who does this stuff on their own car/s.
Local shops are reaming her on price, so I'm kinda hoping someone here might step up. She'll come to you with all parts and a couple of Benjamins. I usually do everything on her car, but a trip from DC to Sacramento for pads and rotors is probably over the top?  PM if you can help. Much appreciated!

i wondered how many would respond if it was your SON!
ahahha if all falls thru, she can drive to my place in concord. i'll explain it to my wife as. "one of my good friends that i have never met..see his daughter needs some car care". she would be cool with it

That's funny. She was skeptical that anyone that I'd never met in a town on the other coast would be the least bit interested in working on an Acura. Talking to her last night about the response she said, "You've always told me not to trade on my looks, but I bet you posted a picture with this request." Such little faith.
She's kinda in awe of the Porsche community, and has met some great people, so this is just one more proof. FWIW, she put most of the vinyl on my car. Turns out she was far better at it than I was. This is in the garage at Watkins Glen:
