DIY corner balance ramps

Today I built a pair of ramps to aid on the corner balance and alignment. I think these will be a good complement to my lift. It is definitely much easier to roll under the car to adjust the spring plates bolts and the sway bars.

Hope you like them.

Best

Thumbs up Wow...

Mario

Looking good. Look like these are specialized scale? What make, supplier and cost?

Cheers

J.J.

PS shouldn't the scale readout be on the outside vice the indide? Maybe not since you are under the car when adjusting...

Thank JJ

These are longacre scales. I don't think it makes a difference to which side you place the conectors, but I might be wrong! I normaly use them on the inside since it make for less messing around with the cables.

Now that I see the scale you are right it does not matter

Which set did you get; Scales

P.S. I'll take a wild guess... any ancestor from Quebec?

Nice job. Hard to tell from the pics, but did you allow a place to "bounce" the car off the scales? Someplace to rock the car to allow the suspension to settle if making adjustments?

Looks good, but I would set the scales flush with the ramps so you can roll on/off of them easily to help settle the suspension...

Cheers

OK, in order to break in my new ramps, I played a bit with the corner balance. I came to the figures below. What do you think?

PS: I address the issue mentioned by Jeff, and now the scales sit flush with the ramps. I also made sure the ramps are leveled.
