Cost to replace fenders (longhood) and paint
Would like to know what longhood owners are having to pay for solid fenders and as well as typical cost to paint said fenders to match rest of car.
Thanks,

Cost of the fenders depends on condition...I have seen some nice ones for about $1000 each...some more....some less.....cost to paint depends on the shop....and the amount of prep work involved to get them ready for paint as well as blending the paint to adjacent panels if you want a good color match. That also includes black and white....trust me on this one. That is one reason when I converted my short hood to a wide body I decided to keep it short....I could paint my car all over and buy all the parts and wheels for less than i would have had in short hood parts needed and partial paint. And I got the added bonus of having a wide body.
