Question Oil lines - SSI conversion?

Hi all.

I have a query...
I've got my hands on a used SSI exhaust. I am having it fitted next week by a local Porsche garage but i am missing one of the oil lines I will need.

I have the all metal one. But I need a half metal half rubber one it seems.

I have read many a post about these lines but I need to know where in the UK I can get one. Or can they be made.... If so how, and what are the specs.

The chap wants to do the job next. Sat so any help most appreciated.

Also I know someone who works in a place that makes this type of thing and he would make something if I could tell him the specs.

Regards

Also I will be selling a nearly new factory stainless rear silencer ((75 onwards) which cost nearly £600 from Porsche. If anyone wants it instead of an aftermarket one?

You may not need it, if you are willing to mod your existing lines.

Still not sure

Thanks..

I read this threa but didn't fancy bending oil lines if one could be bought that does a better job.

Also I have an oil line already which is for this purpose. it is shaped a bit like this image (excuse the crap drawing)..

I was told that I need another one, half rubber, half metal. The Tech article that is on Pelican also shows this. This is the one I think I need as well as the one I've already got.....

Unless anyone knows different.

So if anyone can tell me about the rubber one I am very interested.

Hi TSwede,

What car is the muffler from? And how much would you need to be seperated from it?
