calling koni experts - 86-1942 strut insert no longer available
 

Guys,

I'm trying to figure out options.

Current front struts are the old konis that take the 86-1942 inserts.

However we're advised KONI no longer make them. We've discovered the current inserts are some cheap knock offs that are plain dangerous.

Q:

In the interests of keeping with the konis, can you utilise an alternative insert in the koni uprights and what make/type etc?

We're trying to get the old pig to turn around corners.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated...

We (Elephant Racing) modify Bilstein and Von inserts to fit koni struts.
