Front A-Arm Question

Hi,
I am in the middle of rebuilding a '70 911. I am gathering up all of the parts necessary to refurbish/upgrade the front suspension/steering assembly. When finished, the car will be used for street use only. However, I do want to squeeze in as much handling, etc. as I can. So, I know about the turbo tie rod upgrade and I know about the different bushings and struts that can be used. My question is this, is there an upgrade for the stock A-Arm assembly? I have seen some tubular ones that look to be for racing so I am not sure that they would make alot of sense to install. Thoughts?

The only "upgrade" is a 935 suspension which used thin Aluminum tubes joined by Heim joints to locate the bottom of the strut. These only work with coil-over spring setups, though. The stock ones need to be strong due to the bending moment from the torsion bar inside them.

You would need to custom-modify a set of stock arms for an upgrade.

Well, if you slid down the slippery slope already with monoball bearings, raised/gusseted struts, roll cage, sticky tires, etc. then you could do a coil over setup from Rebel Racing and get the 935 front suspension as part of the package. ;)
