Which one of these is the deceleration valve?
Both in Bentley and other postings I have seen these two things referred to as the deceleration valve:
Is it this one: ![]() or this one ? : ![]() What's the difference between the two? |

the one in the first pic is the decel valve.

both are decel valves
Pic 1 is early style 78(or earlier?)-80 Pic 2 is late style 81-83 Later cars have two saucers that look like that, the other one without nipple is Auxilary Air Valve for hot start

Deceleration valve.......
The second pic shows the decel valve for late SC's. Earlier SC's ('78-'79) don't have this type of decel valve.
