87 Carrera Air Filter Housing broken latch point
 

Hello,

one of my airbox catches where the clips locate have broken off and there is a small gap at the top next to the bulkhead (the hardest one to get at!!!!).

Does anyone have one for sale, or should I upgrade to the cone evolution type?

Not sure how your clip broke or what is left to use, but this was one of the first repairs I did when I got my car 6 years ago. It's on the backside so you can't see it. Not concours quality, but still there and working after 6 years. High-Tech parts from Home Depot. Maybe it will work for you too...

You can also move the clip one square over. And jb weld or rivet some u-channel aluminum bar that you can buy at Orchard Supply to the upper air box cover, drilled to act as the hinge mount.
