Boxter 17" wheels fit on '85 Carrera?
Do they require spacers or anything?

As far as I can understand you will need some very large spacers.
I guess only very few people tried this? |

i have boxster wheels on my 73 with sc flares and used 1" spacers on the rear and 1/4" in front. could have gone a bit wider in front, but needed at least that size to get the tire away from the strut.

So, is this more of a trial and error sort of thing, or could I get specifics from the dealer?
