Another "Identify this Part" Thread
Pretty self-explanatory.......
I found it in the glove box of the new car. Porsche part? Maybe part of the tie rod end or something? It does have a stud/nut on the other side identical to the one you see. Thanks in advance. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1282882012.jpg |
Looks like it could be part of the window regulator assembly. :confused:
|
I seem to remember the part, center is rubber? I believe it was in the spare parts given to me by the PO. Mine had a thin piece of metal, maybe brass clamped in it. Seem like a mount for something. Never found its origin, though.

muffler bearing isolation mount

Flux capacitor drain plug.

techman1, that sure sounds like it. Yes, the center is rubber, dry as it may be. As you can see, there are two sleeves through which the stud passes.

No other thoughts?

It looks very similar to the vibration isolation mounts for the front oil cooler.
@Superman - Only 914s and Deloreans had Flux capacitors :-) |
That's my vote, top iso mount for the 28 row brass oil cooler.
