Porsche Crest Could also be the gauge ...

See you Sunday ...

Willie:

Hope I didn't offend . A full tank from Denver should get you all the way there and back but there should be plenty of chances for fuel as Dave suggests. It may be the gauge too which is a little trickier to work on but definitely doable.

I won't have time to go on to Winter Park, so I'll turn around and come back over the ridge.

Anyone else want to join the fun? I'd like to get some confirmations so I can warn the restaurant and let them know approximately how many to expect. The more the better!

I am in starting at the Justice center until the RM Park entrance, I want take a hike instead of going through the Park and on to the Winter Park slide stuff. So breakfast will be in Estes Park right? Looking forward to seeing Dave's makeover Carrera.

Looks like it will be another hot day in Denver so it should be nice and cool up there!

For those meeting up with us in Nederland, the RTD Park-n-Ride lot is on Hwy 72 on the west end of Nederland, so just follow the sign to Estes Park and the big lot will be on the left.

The cops might not be out at 7 am on Sunday morning, but they usually nab speeders as you head into Nederland, so whoever has the radar detector should be in front just in case.

Yeah Bill, bfast in Estes.

Guys, I'm reluctantly going to have to miss tomorrow. Thought I could make it work, but wasn't able to wrap up a couple of projects today in the studio and clients will be calling me on Tuesday if I don't get things killed off over this weekend.

My apologies, and have fun!

Fwiw

Justice Center is exactly that. Police and Sheriffs Dept. are coming and going regularly as the jail is in the basement...be cool leaving Boulder. There are two potential hazards, the first being a non-descript white photo van just where Canyon Blvd leaves Boulder. Right side of the road parked. Don't be moving more than 40 mph (speed limit is 35mph) or you will get your picture in the mail. The second issue is if there is no photo van, there can be a federalie watching cars enter and leaving (radar gun) Boulder on the right side at about 4th street just before the car wash. A string of Porsches leaving Boulder might encourage him to "call ahead". Silly for me to mention this stuff...just be "heads-up".

See you guys in the am...car is prepped...son is psyched.

It was a great drive this year. 6 Porsches and a BMW 5 series. Weather was perfect, breakfast was good, we had a great group of drivers and some amazing roads. I logged over 240 miles. Thanks to everyone there, it was a great time. Tom and Chris, that drive back through Winter Park was fun. That guy in the S4 was happy to follow along.

Here are some pics:

Very quick getting pics up...

Chad had a BAT (Black Audi Trailer) on the way back.

Perfect day, weather, group, drive... and after all that, Dave thinks he'd like to live in Seattle...

Just got home myself from our 9 mile hike up to Sandbeach Lake in RMP. It was fun to do the drive to Estes Park for breakfast with you lads. A grand Colorado day for sure. My lady friend remarked that everyone seemed like really nice folks.

Has anyone heard from Speedo since yesterday? His place is right up in the Four Mile fire and evacuation zone.
