3.2 Fuel Pressure Dampner

Does anyone know how to test/check the pressure dampener on the 3.2 system? I have a slight miss at idle and the dampener is the last item on my list, fuel pressure is perfect as per Bentley but I cant find info on the dampener. Thanks

I had the same question? From what I could find it dampens the pulse in the fuel line that you get as the injectors open and close. I pulled my vac line to mine and it did nothing to the running or AFR's

The miss at idle could be a lean condition, mine would feel like it was missing at idle when too lean.

Ive been playing with this thing (funky idle) for a couple of years now. Changed and rebuilt everything, the car would not respond to the idle mix screw, it always remained rich. One of the threads talked about a dead cyl. at idle, I replaced the plug wires with a new set and the problem was solved, now though with the mixture set at .6-.7 vdc the idle pops as if slight back-fire. If I lean out slightly, power suffers, richen more popping.
