Help needed for Euro 83SC odometer gear identification

my 83 Euro 911SC odometer gear is broken (the one that is driven by the worm gear). Unfortunately it has so disintegrated that I count the gears to figure out which one I should order. Does anyone know which one it should be? It has a 150mph speedo. Pelican sells 20x21, 20x22, 20x23, 20x29, 20x30, 20x32. The broken pieces seem to be brownish/red in color, if that makes any difference.

I had mine repaired by a local repair facility but I found this chart that lists the gears.Porsche Odometer Gear Reference
Mine was brown in color as well but I don't know the tooth count.

Thanks for the chart. From that, I conclude that a Euro car would have a km speedo and a US would have a mph. There are no Euro option with an mph speedo, so I guess my speedo was probably replaced. Would all Euros in the US with mph guages be non-original?

My SC still has the KPH speedo. Obviously, not ALL Euros imported were changed over to MPH.

After my last post I looked through my parts boxes but I didn't find anything that can help you indentify the gear you need. I bought one for a 944 at one time but it only lasted about a week.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

I'm going to press my luck and go with the 20x30 that the chart says for US mph guages. I realized my speedo needle comes off pretty easily so shouldn't be a big deal if I have to do it twice.

Was yours a km speedometer or mph? Everything I have read so far, including measuring s small piece I found with 3 teeth, and from the picture in the tech article with the same color gear suggests it should be 20x30 for my mph meter.
