The Smooth Look Thread

I'm looking for interior and exterior ideas to give my pre-73 Porsche 911 project the smooth look and interested to see what other people have done to their cars.

Thinking of mods like flush rear window, single wiper conversion, small aero mirrors, removing rain gutters etc

I need some inspiration guys, please post your ideas and photos.

I' ve tried to accomplish a similar look with my 964...the 911 silhouette just doesn't need all the extras. That said, I love the chrome trim on longhood cars, so I would probably go a different direction with an older car!

So far on my 964 I've de-badged engine lid, wrapped the secondary lights and tail lights in black vinyl, replace the Flag mirrors with Vitaloni mirrors. Recently I pulled the wiper relay as an easy way to park the wiper on the passenger side.

I'd love to get rid of the sunroof and delete rain gutters also...

A long time ago I got some of my inspiration from a fellow pelican member, RDane.
He did it all right...look here: Well sorted '79 RGRUPPE 3.6L
