Oil burn smell?
I'm noticing that when I come to a stop, I'm getting a burning oil smell. Mainly after warmed up. No smoking except small amount @ startup. Oil level stayin the same.
Just had service & valves adjusted. 88 3.2 w no cat, pre muffler, m & k, & SW chip. Normal? |

Oil could have dripped onto the heat exchangers in the course of the valve adjustment?

You may have a super tiny leak. All it takes is one drop on the HE's to create that aroma we all know too well. Also, without a Cat your exhaust will smell different since the cat masks the fuel and oil smell. Don't worry about it unless you have a visible leak, smoke, or oil level drop.
