1986 944 Electric Seats Bolted right into my 1983 SC and my 1975 S. Needed to use the model year bolts though.
Ran +12V from fuse box and grounded on the chassis.

Not to be contrary, but do you have power windows? Electric antenna? A/C? I ask only because the early SC can be a real weight-saver if built without these bells and whistles - and many were. My car is early enough that it has chrome trim left over from the "S" series that was used to exhaustion at the factory (tho. you could special request for a bit of time).
Anyways, electric seats are very cool, but in the overall package you might weigh the benefits against the way the factory built your car.

Thanks guys, so it sounds like there are quite a few options. I have the original seats for the car but are really worn. I wanted to take the originals out and store them away. Maybe I will restore them in a decade or two. Lol
