Back when I first saw this on my '89, I immediately installed a new pressure sender,..It gave me a bit more accuracy but not textbook. Continuity to the gauge was quite good.....so, I left it at it it were.

Thinking about seninf the gauge out for checks/repairs....I'd really like to see the proper ratios of RPM/Pressure.

A gauge was used to meaure (quantify) the actual pressures vs. RPMS and all was ok (I slept better)...now I want the gauge to dance correctly.

Have you a Bentley?Should dance ~) 1K RPM per 1 PSI. 170-5 (for my '89) shows: 4.5 BAR (59PSI) at 5K RPMs (at ~194 degrees F/90 degrees C).

For now,..she's telling me all I need to know!

Connection points need to be solid from sender to the gauge,..ground included....check those first. (a grounding of the sender line (at the pressure sender connection) should give you full scale at the meter (intrument)>

Best,

Doyle
