Does this look odd? My '84 cab VIN has letter at the start and in the middle.

Is this fishy?

1 = Targa
0374 = Sequential Serial number

I agree that the descriptions are a little bit 'cheesy' but he is trying to sell the car.. :)

As for the VIN, Porsche didn't go to the 17 digit number (Starting with WP0) until 1981
