My Sumitomo HTRZIII work fine on the street, but you are going to have to give us more info to get any meaningful help. I assume you are at a tire store and trying to get something today. I'll advise to replace all 4.

Sorry about the cryptic posts. I was on my iphone as it was running out of battery.
Anyway I am at home and need new front tires for my 87 carrera. It's a bone stock garage queen with Kumho MX on the front. 205 55 VR16. These have been discontinued so I'm looking for something new. What replaced the Kumho MX?

Just looked on Kumho and saw ECSTA MX KU15. Tread looks the same as my old MX's. Any opinions?

ECSTA MX KU15 are run flat tires. Heavy tires.

Most guys with 16" have had to go with off-brand sort of tires if they have 245s in the rear. If you have 225s in the rear, your options are far greater.

I have turned to Fuzion ZRi tires, which are ugly as all get out, but they stick like crazy, have decent wear, and are strong performance tires with a decent sidewall.
