Do you (didja) have a 996 Targa? Love it or hate it?
As you might have noted from my other post, I am nearly buying a 2004 996 Targa. I had a 73 targa, and loved the mix of closed vs. open to the sky driving. I haven't had time to live with the "new" sliding glass roof Targas.
If you have had or do have one, do you love it or hate it? I have found over the years that either you like the concept or don't. But I would like to get an opinion from those that have owned one or still own one. From what I have read, it is considerably quieter than a Cab, which is typical for a Targa. But do you get overheated from all that glass? Have you had any problems with the roof? Would you do it all over again? How does it compare to driving one of the "older" Targas?
