1973 Targa window alignment

Good Evening Everyone
I am new to the forum, and just collected my first porsche, hence the rush of posts.
It's a 1973 911 Targa in need of some TLC and resto, so not on the road yet, but i am itching.........
I would like to ask advice on alignment of the windows please?
I have the version with manual windows, which do not line up with the targa top.
Does anyone know of the correct alignment proceedure, presumable within the door, or any pointers to where I can find out?
Am learning slowly, and have just managed to get it started after 10 years.........
Many thanks in advance for you help.
Regards
mark

Are your side rubbers on the top ok? Could you post some pictures to see your exact problem? Is the top seated properly at the front ?
