Shop Lift Question
I am taking my 911SC to our local muffler shop on Friday to have a new muffler installed. As this shop is not a specific Porsche shop, I want to ensure that their two post car lift does not jack the car up in the wrong locations and damage a oil line or the body itself.
Am I being paranoid? If not, what would be the recommended locations to lift a 79 911 SC. I've tried searching the forum but am having difficulty finding this information. Thanks!

On my 87 there are four jack points, basically toward middle of car by each wheel. They have to be careful of the oil lines but otherwise should not be an issue. If they've never touched a 911, make sure they know the location of those lines.

If you have your owners manual it provides a pic of jack points which you can show the shop
