duck'd
First off, I'd like to thank SouthCoastPhil (Phil Lambert) for making this purchase off his classified ad here very, very easy. He's a top notch guy to work with.
Regardless, the targa has now been Ducked. The car will continue to evolve, but right now it looks like this: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1284756560.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1284756620.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1284756639.jpg The ultimate goal is to have the targa look something like this (Green!), with a duck, of course: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1284756925.jpg Regardless, your suggestions as to how the car is evoving and could evolve in the future are appreciated. This is how things started: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/375874-questions-noob-75-911s-w-issues-kinda-ugly.html Cheers! |
Thanks for the kind words, Tom. Looks very cool with the black duck and the other black bits on your car!
Enjoy!!!! Phil PS. If you ever get to New England, do look me up. |
Excellent!!!

I'm thinking maybe in the short term do a black stripe the width of the duck on the white paint in back (black targa top continues it across the top) and then down the front of the car. Paint is not original an only in fair shape, so I can have fun with it. White with large black stripe? What says the forum?
|
Do it!!

Just paint the hood?
Hey Tom, nice tail!
When I first saw the picture with the black tail, my immediate thought was to paint the hood black, too (instead of a stripe). Just my .02. Can't wait to see it in person! Jason |
I ducked in.....to say Im ducky about the duck.
|
Oh, no, no, no....please paint the tail white. Thank you..........
|
looks fantastic!
fyi: I might have the rear bumper available for you (like in that green one) once my car goes into the shop this Nov. |
