Anyone ever seen steel Banana arms from an RSR?
here they are, on sale at racecarsdirect.com... new to me! had no idsea they were available/made. used back in the day?

Those look like they might be new repro’s. But the orig RSRs did have steel ones, before Posche started making arms out of cast. aluminum. I believe they even did some fabricated aluminum ones for the ‘74 RSR turbo. Those must be a sight to behold!

It seems like I heard of guys running SWB trailing arms on RSR style cars. Those are steel. They must have been running spacers too.
Regardless, these cool but not cheap - 5000 Euro.

If those are 5000€ then they aren’t real. I sold a single for $5000 over a decade ago. I can’t imagine what one goes for now.

As I recall from the time, late 80s, early 90s, there was box extensions that needed to be welded to the torsion tube to properly locate the trailing arms.

I think our metal guy does that with an RSR jig.
