79 911SC Distributor Part needed

I wasn't getting a spark and got a pulse generator coil but when I took my Distributor apart I found that the magnet in my Magnetic Pulse generator has started to break apart. Does anyone know where to get this part Bosh# 1237031017, or are there alternatives on how to replace this?

The car is dead without this part.

Any suggestions??

NAPA has them in stock

In past posts the coil was listed as being at NAPA, but if you know that the pulse generator is there too, please share the part number because I can't seem to find it any where.

thanks

this is the part you want? The other parts ar Bosch only and they don't sell to me and you. Best to go to an authorized Bosch repair station (like a good European shop). thats my best offer. Unless you want to buy a new dissy?

That is the coil, the pulse generator is the part that that goes into. This part rotates within a magnet that is part of the Pulse generator. My magnet has fallen apart.

If people rebuild SC distributors they must be getting these parts somewhere??

Anyone have one of know of someone who has one??

Try Parts Klassik too. Maybe epoxy the magnet together, worst case. It just sits there.

I got another SC distributor. Just had it rebuilt by Barry Hershon, he epoxied it together. He said he has a few magnets but their cost is worth a lot of$$$$$$, more than the distributor is worth

Are you sure you have the right part number?

Distributor service (Clean and lube) real easy without removing the pinion gear! has the coil as part number as 1 234 211 010
