New shifter bushings installed

1985 911 Carrera Cab.

Just finished installing all new shifter related bushings...Now I am ready to begin the Seine gate shift kit installation.

Only thing I can add to the many posts on the bushing topic is that I used my drill press to remove the pin in the rear coupler. I chucked a small nut driver (designed for a hand drill) into my drill press to remove and install the pin. Used a larger one to remove the old bushings. This may be a little less cumbersome than the vice/socket method.

The gate shift kit installation seems like it should go ok....any suggestions?

I installed the Sein kit in my 80 sc. Its great! Pretty easy install. Have to drill a couple of holes....The biggest improvement in shifting for me was to replace the shift coupler with a new one
