Help, strange sound in 1st gear...

When I shift into 1st gear (G50 tranny) and release the clutch, my car makes a brief low-pitched humming sound (not a whistling sound, but it's not quite metallic either). I only hear the sound when I'm shifting from neutral to 1st. Does anyone have any idea where this sound is coming from?

That is the typical 1st gear/low rpm gear chatter/noise that all G50's make. Nothing to worry about, perfectly normal.

Thanks, that's good news. I just got the car, and I didn't notice the sound before...
