Post Rear window heater

With the help of the BBS members, I successfully wired my engine compartment heater blower as it should be.

Encouraged by that, the next step is the rear window heater.
The switch in the dash is working (at least the control lamp). Its 2-stage, but the car is a coupe.
The rear window heater has never worked though.

The famous connector at the regulator/relay is not allowing to clip a voltmeter onto during operation.
I can only verify to have +12V at Pin 30 of the socket.

Anyone who can direct me further?

Thanks in advance,
Jens

Hello

86 comes from the switch, 85 is ground, 30 comes from the fuse, 87 goes to the window.

You also can have the two stage heating device with the control unit.

Unplug the connector to the heatet window ( red/white or doubleconnector with red/black ) and check there voltage.

Grüsse
