Based on a few searches of Google, I see that the tool you probably need is an 8mm triple square bit.

I have bought a couple for my Beetle and Passat suspension work. The best quality I have seen is a KD bit through NAPA. You can buy them individually - $10 range. Call your local NAPA store and they will have it in a day if not in stock. Sears also sells them.

The term triple square probably refers to the twelve points in the pattern.
