Help with strange hole
Do you guys know what is supposed to go through the hole you can see in the attached picture?
I´m talking about the hole between the two A/C lines. My car is a 911 carrera year 1985 with factory A/C. Thanks Miguel ![]() Last edited by mojarra2929; 10-03-2010 at 01:34 PM.. Reason: forgot to say something |

There are a number of things that can go there, but the first one to mind is the washer reservoir hose to washer pump. I may have a battery overflow hose there.

On my '87 there was a solid rubber grommet installed on the hole in that location. After replacing my battery, I used that hole to extend my battery vent. I replaced the battery, extended the battery vent tube with similar dia. clear (surgical) tubing, and routing it through the grommet, which I pierced, to the outside. Access it from the inside just under the front battery 'tray'.

On my '82 that is where the headlight washer pump wires go.
