Question on fitting a 964 engine lid on a '74
Good morning - hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I know some tweaking is required to fit the 964 engine lid, but I am unsure if I need to move the hinges in some and cut them down, or just move the hinges in? I have come across a reference that the original hinges need 25mm spacers on either side where they attach to the body, but have seen pictures of cut down hinges too. Could someone take me to school here please? Thanks.

search screen name "matman" or maybe "mattman" he makes the hinges for a cost and a core set from the early car hinges.
