Vintage alpine alarm - programming radar sensitivity?

Hello all,

I picked up a "vintage" alpine alarm, just because. Well, wanted to have a bit of secturity, and the remote lock/unlock will be handy since my door lock is tricky (just another one of a hundred things not disclosed by the PO or revealed by $450.00 worth of PPI's but I digress......). And I figured this alarm will do everything a new one will do, plus it's an alpine so it matches my old-school alpine CD player...... I know, silly, but this is the only fun I get these days so bear with me.

The "new" alarm is a new in box SEC-8049 and it includes a SEC-8345 Radar sensor. The installation instructions do not include any details on best mounting locations for the radar sensor or means of adjusting sensitivity of said radar sensor?

Anyhow, perhaps among you there is a guru? with a great memory?
